Metal is the preferred choice for the manufacture of post boxes. Mail boxes are manufactured from a variety of metal. Postboxes can be made from normal or stainless steel to having their front and backs cast from aluminium. Although some plastic post boxes are available the favourite choice of the consumer is have their letterbox manufactured from metal. Lettasafe prefer to use cast aluminium for the front and backs of their postboxes and anti corrosion zintec plated steel for the centre sleeve
