Free Standing Letterboxes

Free standing mailboxes are still very popular, particularly in properties with large gardens or long drives. Lettasafe manufacture 2 styles of free standing postboxes. The Kingsbury is an ornate design whilst the Bloomsbury is a plainer, more contemporary design. Both are available with front or rear retrieval access doors and are fitted with a lock and supplied with 2 keys. The size of the standard box is 425mm high by 295mm wide and 230mm deep. This is adequate for most applications, but for those who require even larger capacities, the depth can be extended up to 350mm. The front and rear castings, including the door and postflap are made from solid LM6 grade aluminium whilst the sleeve is manufactured from zintec coated steel. For long lasting protection, all the metal components are phosphate coated before being powder coated in a low bake enamel in a choice of colours.

To ensure your mail is kept dry, rubber seals are fitted between the castings. For additional security, an optional restrictor plate may be fitted to these models.
