Terms & Conditions

Payment

From the absence of any other written agreement between the parties, payment in full is due with all orders. Our prices are quoted in British GBP £ Sterling and include carriage costs and VAT (unless otherwise stated). We accept payment by cheque and most major credit or debit cards. Cheques should be made payable to Lettasafe Ltd and posted to the address below, along with customer's name, address and order number.

We withhold the right to hold orders until funds are cleared. This will not delay credit or debit card payments but will extend the delivery periods for orders paid for by cheque.

Unless stated otherwise, all of our prices include VAT at the standard national rate.

Delivery

We aim to deliver all UK orders within 1-3 working days from final confirmation of completed order. (Customised letterboxes, case sizes or colours other than black may extend delivery periods). Please contact us for an accurate despatch time or for more information on International delivery times. A valid signature from your household or business will be required by a person 18 years or older. Please ensure that you check parcel contents on receipt. Also ensure that the correct amount of packages are being signed for (Some of our postboxes are sent in 2 or more parcels), Lettasafe Ltd can not be held responsible for any subsequent loss as a result of the parcel quantities not being checked at the time of receipt. Should any of the packaging appear damaged or are seen to have been mistreated by the courier then do not accept delivery or sign for received with damaged packaging and contact Lettasafe immediately. Once signed for (in good condition) you will become the owner of the items and Lettasafe Ltd will not be held liable for any loss or destruction.

Postage & Packaging

British Isles (UK mainland and Isle-of-Wight) Postage is included.

Isle of Mann, Northern Ireland and the channel islands £15 surcharge

Southern Ireland and Europe £30 surcharge

Rest of world, please contact Lettasafe for carriage costs. 

Our Guarantee

Our products are covered by a 3 Year manufacturers guarantee. Goods will be accepted for return or repair up to a period of 3 Years if any defect due to faulty workmanship is found. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Product Detail

Many of our products carry additional technical details, if you require any specific information about one of our product option/extras please contact us before ordering. Where applicable customers are responsible for house numbers, names, case sizes etc being ordered correctly. Please ensure you have ordered the correct colour/case size/extra features carefully and double check house number, name spelling.

Return of Goods Policy

If the goods are found to be faulty through manufacture. initially, and before returning goods, the customer should contact us to explain the nature of the problem. We may be able to send out replacement parts without the need to return the faulty items. If the goods need to be returned then they should be packed in the original packing and in the same manner as received. Damage incurred as a result of poor packaging may be charged for. Arrangements will be made with the customer for the collection of the item. If, upon inspection, the goods are found to be defective due to faulty workmanship, a replacement will be sent out as soon as possible. We do not send temporary replacements.

Goods damaged in transit or wrongly delivered must be notified to our sales office within 14 days of the original order date. We will require proof of damage to packaging together with an explanatory letter to enable the carrier to investigate. We will arrange collection of the goods for replacement. See our refund policy for returns. The customer shall be responsible for all costs, including postage & packing if the item is found not to be faulty due to workmanship or damage in transit.

Goods not received or shortage of packages.

Unless specified by Lettasafe Ltd. your goods will be dispatched within 7 working days. Lettasafe Ltd. should be contacted within 14 days if your goods have not arrived or of any shortfall in the quantity of packages. Although we will  investigate the matter if notified after this period we cannot guarantee a solution and as a consequence Lettasafe Ltd. will not accept any responsibility for any loss incurred.

Incorrect Goods

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us straight away, We will of course endevour to correct this as soon as possible and will advise you directly. Your order should be checked upon receipt. Lettasafe Ltd will not accept liability for any consequential costs.

Damaged or Defective Goods

If you receive a product that is defective, please contact us straight away to report this and return package within 3 working days for a replacement. Please make sure your order number is included and return the item in its original packaging. If the product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly.

Limitation of Liability

We accept no liability for any damage that may occur after delivery. This includes accidental damage, misuse, damage during fixing or the use of inappropriate cleaning materials. The installer is responsible for ensuring that appropriate and adequate fixings are used.

Changing or Cancelling an Order

A charge may be incurred for any bespoke changes made after the start of manufacture. Notification of any changes should be made as soon as possible and followed-up in writing. Changes made could involve delay in the manufacturing time and consequently the delivery time. If a personalised or custom-made letterbox has been ordered and manufacture has began, a ‘cooling off’ period does not apply and therefore can only be cancelled upon forfeit of up to the full amount payable. Refunds (or part refunds) will be at the discretion of Lettasafe Ltd.
